Welcome to Our Raffle Ticket Page

We didn't design our program for raffles, but a lot of organizations have had great success using our rides as raffle prizes. So, we decided to make things a little easier for you.

Now you can print free numbered raffle tickets
right from this web page!

DISCLAIMER: While raffles are legal for most organizations, you should be aware that raffle ticket drawings are considered games of chance. Raffle laws and regulations vary from state to state. Please do your research and ensure that your raffle is conducted in accordance with local raffle laws.

Also, please keep in mind that with a raffle, you have to purchase the balloon ride upfront. You must present the winner with the Balloon Ride Certificate and Location List at the raffle drawing. You can't sell tickets for a prize you don't own. But, if your event gets rained out or cancelled for some unforeseen reason, you certainly can send the ticket back for a FULL refund. It is still a no-risk fundraising opportunity--as long as you sell enough tickets to cover the cost of the ride.

We have raffle tickets for both the Hot Air Balloon Ride for Two People and the Hot Air Balloon Ride for Four People. The tickets are numbered from 1 to 300. So, keep in mind, if you use these tickets, you can't sell more than 300! You can always purchase one of those giant rolls of raffle tickets from a party store if you intend to sell more than 300 tickets.

The raffle tickets are pretty straightforward. They are intended to be torn in half. The raffle ticket purchaser keeps the side with the picture of the balloon and you keep the side with the contact information. It is up to you whether or not you require the raffle ticket purchaser to fill out all the contact information. It can be a great tool for collecting/updating supporter information. But, both sides are numbered, so as long as the purchaser doesn't lose their ticket, the winner can be identified by the unique ticket number.

Note from Jenna, Our Marketing Director: Pricing is, of course, entirely up to you. Personally, I have only conducted two raffles for the balloon rides for Two. I had great success selling tickets for $5 each or five tickets for $20. But, you know your audience best and different pricing may be more appropriate. Plus, if you are raffling the balloon ride for four people, you may want to charge more.

The tickets print out six-to-a-page. For all 300 tickets, you will need to print all three files. Also, be sure to read and follow the Important Tips section below for the best results.

Important Tips!

1. Use card stock. Regular paper is just too flimsy.

2. Plan on using a color printer. (You don't have to...but they just look so nice in color.)

3. Before you cut out the tickets, score the two red dotted lines on each page (Note from Jenna: I don't have any fancy scoring tool. I just took a dinner knife from my utensil drawer and dragged it down the red dotted lines on each page. It is a little time consuming. But, it is worth it! If you don't do it, the tickets don't naturally tear in half where you want them to.)

4. Cut along the black dotted lines to create your individual tickets.

5. Try to keep them in order by making packs of 50 held together with rubber bands. Ultimately, it isn't totally necessary to sell them in order. But, it is a convenient way to keep track of ticket sales.

6. If you are distributing tickets to volunteers to sell, keep track of who has what ticket numbers.

7. Oh...and you will need a balloon ride Order Form. Click here to print our one-page order form. Or, just call our office Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm Eastern Time and place your order over the phone, (800) 762-7464.

One Final Note

I wish it were otherwise, but we are not prepared to offer you any technical support in printing your tickets. It should work just fine without a hitch, but we don't have anyone in our office available to walk you through this. No worries, you can do it! And, if it doesn't work out, just go out and buy one of those big fat rolls of tickets at a party supply store.
